trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!

what do you use phat? i use firefox but alternatives would be nice
Unless I'm mistaken phatty is a Safari user. So if your not on Mac your probably out of luck. Though I thought I remember hearing something about a Beta for Windows. If your on Linux the closest thing would probably be Konqueror.
Safari is a great browser.
For me Firefox makes most sense. Mostly I like the extensions, but I bounce around from OS to OS very frequently. Safari is only on Mac, but Firefox remains constant in function and control whether I happen to be on a Mac, Solaris, Linux, and sadly to say the occasional Windows machine I have to sit down at.
Not sure what you guys mean by no back button though. I only briefly looked at it on a Mac, but I thought the biggest button on the toolbar was the back button. I'm probably mistaken. You can fix that either way. On Linux, Firefox 3.0 looks exactly like Firefox 2.0 except for the added smart bookmarks and the Awesome Bar.

ya like chewie said im a safari guy. i like it cuz its simple and fast. I use Firefox for debugging tho. firebug's a good extension. random note: they asked me if i wanted to come in and interview for a job as lead of the firebug team and i said "no". LOL
I've been using the BETA's of FF3 for over a month now and it is pretty good. most of my complaints are gone. but FF2 on Mac was just so bad & I really started liking Safari. so essentially im "home' on Safari and its gonna take something huge for me to change. I guess FF2 left a bad taset in my mouth and the alternative (Safari) is still as good as FF3 IMO.
but i gotta say FF3 is fine browser & if i wasnt a Safari fan id probably use it. but the next safari will be using Squirrelfish (Surfin’ Safari - Blog Archive » Announcing SquirrelFish) which will probably make it a bunch faster than FF3 (till they roll out their new JS interpreter).
either way... in the end its all the same. if your browser doesnt cause you to scream and yell then its just fine.
I use Safari on OSX, and FF2 on XP (bootcamp). I'm quite happy with safari, it just doesn't look right on XP. Something to do with the text smoothing. I might download FF3 on XP, anyway I never use it for anything important.
I agree with the "cause you to scream" line. I hate explorer, and every time I have to use it I yell at it, XP, the computer, and it's owner for not having something else![]()
