November fires on the central coast

First of all I hope everyone down in Santa Barbara/Montecito is safe and sound. Those fires look really bad.

A fire just broke in SLO. Right now supposedly nothing is danger and it doens't appear to be out of control. We can see it here from the Music Man Factory.

Here's the view from Aziah's desk in the Sales Office.

Aziah has a nice view... except for the smoke.

We need a nice, long, rainy week. California is too flippin' dry.

Yeah rain is definitely needed here! That fire was actually close to my house too so when I went home for lunch it was really smokey. Luckily it sounds like it's almost contained and and no homes were damaged. Apparently the culprit were some sagging power lines
Aziah - Pronounced "Asia" like the continent. or "Aja" like the Steely Dan album

    Hope y'all are safe.

As an electrical utility employee, there is no excuse for power lines sagging into tree limbs, especially in an area that doesn't have that many trees. Cheapskate power company!

Ahhhh.......so that's what a mountain looks like. We have no such things here in Ohio. Nice pics BTW.

PS: My heredity is part American Indian, I'll do a nice rain dance (with power-chords) for you out there in Cali.

All these fires are so overrated...I think people need to stop starting these things.
