So I was jsut checking out the credits for Maynard James Keenan's new outing called Puscifer (**site not for the faint of heart or easily offended) and if you click on "project credits" on the top nav bar he lists creds for the new CD , among them, the first listed under "For Gear and Stuff..." is........ dah da dahhhh:

Tool and Perfect Circle have been long time String endorsers. Matt the guitar tech asked for a Stingray loaner to record the Pucifer CD. We obliged and he bought the bass after the band was done recording!
