    Johnny Hiland and EBMM

Johnny Hiland is completing work on his new Studio CAMP HILAND, Johnny will be using the studio to work on tracks for his new CD RUNNIN' & GUNNIN"
The CD will feature 14 new songs written by Hiland. there will be an instrumental on the CD too so all you guitar freaks can get your fill of tasty licks too.

Johnnys also releasing a Live CD called "LIVE IN JOHNSTOWN" that will be released this spring. Look for Runnin and Gunning at Christmas time 2010.

Johnny will be touring select dates this year all over the states.

Mr Hiland is very proud to be part of the EBMM family and wants to thank Sterling and Derek for all they have done and for allowing him to be part of such a wonderful family.

Johnny recently played at the Casey Ball foundation golf tourney and had a great time helping raise money for the cause, Sterling got up with Johnny and tore down the house with the Elvis Classic "Thats All Right Mama"...Good times were had by all.

Thank you EBMM and heres to a great new year...The Nashville Ninja...

Wow, what a great couple of weeks, We have the new Camp Hiland Studio almost ready to roll, New floors, New paint, New argosy Console, New everything, the Guitars are itching to get recorded! EBMM we cannot thank you enough, so we will instead make the best record that Johnny has ever made and the world will get to here what a Silo can do on a CD full of incredible Playing!!! Thanks to Colin & Rob from Down under you guys are great and we would love to come see you soon! enjoyed hanging with Colin at NAMM and the videos are great!

Wanted to take a minute and say thanks to Derek. When we came to play at the Casey Ball foundation golf tourney Derek picked us up and took Johnny and I to a place called Fat Burger! Holy Cow (Pun intended) these are the BIGGEST hamburgers I have EVER seen. Unknowingly, I ordered the XX burger thinking it was a double burger, It was 1 lbs of Beef smothered in 4 slices of cheese and mayo, ketchup etc... Of course, I finished it. Had I known that if you order the XXX burger and finish it you get your pic on the wall and its free...I would have went for it...best burger EVER!

So, next year Fatburger, we are coming to town hungrier than we have ever been!!!

Anyways, I digress....Back to Derek....ahem.... Derek works harder than anyone I have ever met, he manages to keep track of all the stars guitars and parts and hats shirts etc etc... He is always ready to help and we probably wear him out with questions. he took us to his home and we got to play through his ancient HIWATT amp. The man took us to the Waldorf Astoria and took care of us till we were in the room. He had already been up for 3 days and the week before was at NAMM on his feet all day! Derek you Rock and we appreciate you! Sterling you are a real guy and that makes us love you even more! We are beyond words grateful for all!

a side note: We decided to use the hot tub by our room, The people from green peace kept pushing me back into the pool and telling me to breathe. Johnny was able to get away, but I am slower....I still have a harpoon scar on my back from swimming off the coast of Japan a couple years back...But anyway...What a dream To work with the folks at EBMM. We have enjoyed it all and its been a very good experience. We look forward to many many years to come of fun events and great music.

Many people on Youtube and on our site have been asking if this switch was about getting paid to play...I want to Settle this issue once and for all. so copy and paste this to anyone who ever says Johnny Hiland is playing Music Man and getting paid to do it.

JOHNNY HILAND PLAYS MUSIC MAN BECAUSE HE LOVES THEM. He is not paid to play ANYTHING. Johnny plays what he wants and he LOVES these guitars. All of us in the band play EBMM for the same reason. they are the best electric guitars on the planet.
Johnny is not doing a JH model he is playing Silo's, I am playing 25th anni and other Balls. Our bass player is playing a 5 string Stingray, these are guitars made for PLAYERS. They make you play better because they are built by musicians for musicians. If you think that is hype then thats your right but I promise you that is the truth from the Hiland Camp. We are all hooked! Tone dont lie! Action dont lie, these are the realest real deal out there. (I am not paid either...nor am I an english major as is evident in this paragraph.)

We will post music when its done but we predict this CD will be the best one ever. Thanks to the fans and to Sterling and Derek and all the folks at EBMM who have welcomed us and made us feel at home.

SEE YOU ON TOUR THIS SUMMER!!!! thats it for now from CAMP HILAND, NASHVILLE TN

Bear Thanks you guys are fabulous and thanks for coming to the Casey Lee Ball Event . Needless to say it is very close to my heart.

How good did Casey play? THe kid is serious about his classical guitar...

Lets talk about Derek....You hit the nail on the head....Derek is just the absolute best and is such a great member of our team. Always positive and always calm no matter what the heck is goikng on or what celeb is going off...he is just a rock. Thanks for bringing it up.

Time fixes perception and bruised feelings. THe fan s get emotionally attached to everything involving an artist. The thing is that the artist has to evolve and change and sometimes that means finding different tools. THey leave us too .........RARELY! hehehe

I dont hire mercenaries....I want people playing our stuff because they get what we are up to and it makes them feel better about playing. You tube is great but it also give a forum to people who spout off without a clue and usually in a very mean spirited way.

Johnny is in the family so is Bear....Beautiful!

Now bear some more wrestling pics!
