My rw-necked Bongo is the best bongo Ive ever played, by far.

bovinehost: Yes, I do agree with that, but if there's nothing wrong then there's nothing wrong.
Beth: I would compare Bongo to Tommy Lee Jones. Bad a$$ and just hot in a weird way...
cheezewiz: They should take their lace thongs off and play bass.

Ha. This couldn't be more true. The beauty on the right is now headed my way.

Yes most definitely nice..I have always really liked those rosewood necked BFR's. That ice blue or whatever it is sure is a beautiful color, especially with the pickguard color choice.

I agree that certain EB wood combo "special" basses seem to stick out a little and outshine the others. My fretless 30th anniversary SR seems to fall into this category a well.

Does anyone know if anyone scored an all rosewood fretless bfr when they were available to order? That would just be too cool! Ha, look at me. Don't even have my all rosewood bongo in yet and I'm already jonesin' for another!

    UGH
Should not be reading this thread.
Seeing my Ex laying on Markus's "hardwood floor of fame"..........
    LMAO hahahaha

Knew that would be a huge brain fart on my part letting go of that 2009 True Gold BFR bongo HH4.

But then again? I have let go of some amazing EBMM basses in the past few years.
Wish I could just keep them all and still have the $$$$ to throw at my GAS attacks.

I miss my RW necked BFR Stingray. Happy i traded it or my first Single H Bongo as it started the obsession, but she was a beauty.
