Finally had time to snap and upload a few pics. The crappy cell phones are gone and high quality ones added. I am still stunned by the looks of this thing. The tone is quite remarkable too - unlike any of the Stingrays I previously owned, in a good way.

I had one, but found I was too skiddish on gigging it, so I sold it.

But I called it my "rootbeer" bass.

I just met a guy with a single H model, absolutely beautiful. But the case is a regular EBMM case. Is that normal? Also, when I mentioned the BFR certificate, he wasn't sure he had it.

    flats for the bongo!
    roundwounds for the fretless!

    eb customer support:
    E-mail: musicman_customerservice@ernieball.com
    Telephone: +1 866-823-2255

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they break and scrape up your bass!

if you have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on those!

i have no affiliation with eb other than i love their basses

Thanks, that's what I figured. If I do decide to pull the trigger I think I can get him to knock the price down. But I think if I were really going to buy this model, I'd wait for one with the correct case.

I'm pretty sure that's not the correct case for this model. That's the one I got with my White Limited Dealer Edition awhile back. Every one I've seen comes with a brown leather one.

I'm looking into buying a bfr redwood and can't find a ton of info about them. What came with the original basses. I'm assuming the case and some sort of certificate of authenticity

Yes, plus the standard case candy (Wonder wipes, stickers, etc.).
