I really love the Joe Dart bass. It’s so cool that it comes strung with flatwounds.

    The dart is awsome.
Goodness I wish this could be done with a tremolo silhouette guitar.

It's also a stellar price for a signature bass. Actually it's the most inexpensive bass in the lineup! Well done, EBMM. :-)

So these are going to be mass produced, and they will be shown at this years NAMM which will be interesting.

What’s going on with the bridge having no main anchor bolts ?
If it were through body string then I could understand it. What kind of wizardry is this ?

It's the same as with the SR Specials...
bovinehost: Yes, I do agree with that, but if there's nothing wrong then there's nothing wrong.
Beth: I would compare Bongo to Tommy Lee Jones. Bad a$$ and just hot in a weird way...
cheezewiz: They should take their lace thongs off and play bass.

Yeah I’m sure I’ve seen it before. How does it work? Are there hidden bolts under the saddles ?

Just the three screws. Sometimes it is that simple.

I had the same thought when I first saw the Stingray Special, but now the old style bridges on Bongo & Sterling look odd to me.

Probably thread insert wood nuts instead of wood screws - but I'm not sure here.
Three screws also at the Stingray5 Special with much more string-pull.

I love the look of those anchor bolts. But they were adding weight and not utility, so off they went.

I still have a "few" with the anchor bolts, though.

I think I’m going to need a bit more convincing lol

That’s my trail of thought as I cannot see how three wood screws would hold it

Still getting my head around the radical change but progress is progress at the end of the day. I really need to see one up close
