Yes. End of this month (July 2021), according to a post in the EBMM guitars forum. And he did mention a Bongo 5. But no details on colors, woods. That will be interesting to see.

I don’t know what is going on. It was on Zzounds. But guess what? Last Friday I ordered it and Sunday I received it. I was a little worried because of the description saying it was cherry red(which I would still have been happy with). It was sparkle white, drop dead gorgeous with a highly figured maple neck. The description said 57 made but the certificate on mine said 60 were made. I do wish the correction would be made on the website though. When I type in the serial number on the website it says it was manufactured June 29 2021. Now there is a new BFR stingray on zzounds. I’m just curious as to whether my bongo has an ash body being that the typed description was not correct. It feels a good deal lighter than my stingray special 5, and that one does have an ash body

You'll have to wait I guess, until the weekend when I'm guessing the EBMM web site will have the correct specs listed. Congrats on your bass.
