Hey that's mine! It is really nice, but so is your DD Luke and a natural ASS. Wish I was around when the Dargies were out.

I haven't seen any other Axis with rosewood necks yet? Other than the Rosewood top ones.

For me, it'd be a JP6/7 with a mahogany body, maple top, mahogany neck (tung oiled, or something similar), and an ebony fretboard. Matching headstock & piezo -- no inlays.

OK I came up with my dream EBMM guitar, for real:

JPX in Dargie Delight II finish with solid rosewood unfinished neck, all chrome hardware, and large original Dargie martini inlays complete with olives in the glasses.

BP, Dargin, and all: I challenge you to make this one

My dream EBMM: a Dargie JPX with unfinished RW neck, oversized martini inlays, and Gamechanger

Love my Axis, but if I could have a "dream Axis", it would be one with a floating floyd, Dargie green, and coil taps. I am very satisfied as-is though.

Too funny; I loved DJ with Beautiful Creatures (their first album should've been huge BTW, great songs), and after seeing them live I got the Axis bug. Saw him again with Sixx AM a couple years ago, and that's when I bought my first Axis, since foolishly sold (needed the coin). I thought h had a great, unique sound.

For me it would have to be a JPX with the specs of it, like the black hardware, ebony fretboard, the body style and chambering, but it would have ruby red burst quilt finish and the color would continue to the back of the guitar, like in the Koa version. That would be the shizz! Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE the barolo finish and still after month and a half I keep going back to just look at the guitar. It's so beautiful. But I can only imagine how beautiful the ruby red burst would look like continuing in the back and having black hardware+ebony fretboard.

Natural maple Silo SSS, vintage white PG and plastic parts with a petrucci trem. Don't even know how it would look an a silo, but it would be a heavenly tone/tremolo combination.

Other than that, the original morse and the older silos are pretty close to the 6-string guitar heaven for me.

Iím still in love with Purple. I love my new BCB Axis but if I could of... I would of bought Purple Axis.

There is a store just outside of Toronto with 2 Amethyst BFR Axis. They have high prices.
I would have loved one but they were about $700 more than I paid.
