Can you double check the serial number? It should be 5 number digits followed by the prefix letter "G".

This one isn't coming up in the database, is there any chance the serial number could be something different?

This JPX was completed on March 3rd, 2011. The color is Black Sugar with the roasted Maple neck & Ebony fretboard with the BFR inlay at the 12th fret. This one does not have stainless steel frets, they weren't introduced to the JP models until 2012. This was a limited edition run that was only open for a one month ordering window. It was originally shipped to Musician's Friend.

Joel- this one is honeyburst but has a roasted neck with (I think) SS frets. I'm assuming that wasn't the original neck?

Right on the cusp for the comp nut I think (was it 2006?) But I hadn't seen a roasted neck that early. And I'm pretty sure SS frets. So I figured a neck swap.

I double checked the database and it originally shipped with a standard Maple neck. It must have been swapped out. The compensated nut was official on all models as of May 26th, 2006 according to our archive. I know they were first used on the limited edition Butter Cream run in 2005 though.

I have a Musicman silhouette special G12148 with tremolo and flame maple neck and a nut with 3 screws, please, can you date it, tell me if that nut is the original one and tell me any additional info?
