Have a Gold EVH MM from around 1992.
    Serial# 80533
When purchased new we were told it was from the first batch of 1000.
But when I keep reading it sounds like the numbers ended up being mix-matched.
Wanting to know a manuf date and where it falls in line with the series and worth.
    Thanks in advance.

I just bought a used Sterling 5. It was described as a Sub on eBay, although the headstock logo has been replaced with a Musicman logo. The only serial is on the neck plate, which has B047451. Any info gratefully received.

This one isn't coming up in our database. E-mail photos to musicman_customerservice@ernieball.com and we can take a look.

    Evh Musicman, serial number 81631

    Evh Musicman, serial number 81631

I just picked this up yesterday after 5 years of knowing it was sitting in my local guitar shop. (Was always too expensive for me. I was told that this guitar belonged to Eddie himself and that he played the concert with it here in ZŁrich Switzerland.
Would be great to know from the serial number if there was any proof that this guitar was used by Eddie.
It was signed once upon a time but the original owner let it fade off. He won a local competition to come onstage at the end of the concert in the Hallenstadion and be handed the guitar by Eddie.
Iíve been a fan of Van Halen ever since I started playing and itís surreal to know that Iím playing a guitar that he played. Feels like an artifact from another universe to me as Iíve never seen Van Halen live in concert and just grew up watching old YouTube videos of him.
I always wanted one of these and finally have an amazing example.
Iím the second owner if you donít donít count the guitar store.
I also have a mm majesty artisan azzurro. Big difference in these guitars but quality is amazing on both.
