NGD: 3rd Morse PDN Neptune Blue!

See the one on the right with the black pick guard? That's it!

Got one during the original order window and LOVED it...

Got one via a body swap with Siddius on here, so it has an unroasted maple neck...

Have been hankering for a Y2D from this run (with rosewood fretboard) but while on the lookout, another standard Morse came up and couldn't pass it up!

Two piece body - clean, Clean, CLEAN - still has the plastic on the pick guard.

A buddy of mine already asked, "Three? Are you freakin' kidding me?!" - and the obvious answer is, "Nope, if one is great, two is better and three is better yet - by the way, got a fourth? "

And, still trolling for a Y2D (or two) from the Neptune Blue run...

Impressive collection to be very proud of Kevin.
Do you mix and match the strings like Steve on all of them, or just run a standard size set?

A Standard Morse is HSSH, with a two-way toggle, three-way blade switch, and three-way toggle. A lot of people say it's complicated, but only takes about 30 seconds to wrap your head around.

A Y2D Morse is HSH, with a single five-way blade switch - which isn't a regular blade as used on a Strat, but is a single control.

Other than that, they're really identical - same body geometry and same neck (they're even interchangeable between the models).

For a long time I did use the mixed gauges - but Steve has been using the standard Super Slinky (9-42) strings the last few months. He also switched from a thick pick to a medium so it has just a little bit of flex in it.

I have guitars in other turnings, but these are all standard tuning. Am just sprinkling them around home and office so one's always at hand.
