Too soon for Neptune Blue II!

Lots of energy here on the forum regarding the 2016 PDN - is it too soon for a recap of Neptune Blue?

I understand it was one of the most successful offerings ever, and believe the Dargie Delight I and II runs were only about two years apart (right?) - so I'd go for a recap, how about you?

I promise to buy at least TWO Morse Y2Ds in the next Neptune Blues run!

I absolutely love the neptune series. However there are enough of them out there since in 2014 they re-opened orders for another month (because of high demand)
Part of the fun in owning a pdn guitar is its uniqueness, so if you ask me, i'd rather see ebmm come up with something new. I'm sure they will come up with onother great run.

Well I'd like to have a Dargie 3, with the exact same specs as the Dargie 1 but with the offering of a roasted maple neck (and fretboard on guitars normally only offered with a rosewood/ebony board)

Pretty please with a huge cherry on top!

Bingo, That would make me happy, limit the ordering window to a few weeks, that way does not dimish the original run.

Neptune Blue was underwhelming personally so to soon, blue dawn thats a different story

It would be cool to do the same thing but with a different finish color and body wood. Imo, no need to do the same thing; diminishing returns.

My guess is we aren't getting a run his year. With all the new models that have to be produced to meet orders, I doubt they'd have time to do a PDN run as well.

That being said, honey roasted was my favorite. I ordered the reflex but didn't keep it because the body shape and arm contour didn't fit me well. Those are the chances you take ordering blindly.

Pro Music Tools has 3 PDN Neptune Blue Y2Ds. If you don't mind overpaying.

Oh man... They have one with rosewood fretboard... I'm getting weak in the knees...

Appreciate the info - that's the only Blue Neptune Y2D with rosewood fretboard I've ever seen.

They have several other Morses I like too (tangerine pearl, Cardinal red sparkle) - maybe get a quantity discount!

They always have cool MM stuff. They've been sitting on those PDN Morse Y2Ds for a while. They might be willing to wheel and deal.

They have a lot of MMs that's right. But their prices are at the top end...even for instruments thay got to the old conditions, they raised the price to match the newer ones.
This is not the best way to get customers sattisfied...just my thought.

It's fun to browse their site though. I go there often. They have lots of close-up pics of all the MM instruments. Visually, it's the closest thing I've seen to holding one in your hands without doing so.

    +1
...and sometimes their prices for used instruments are ridiculous... not in a positive way
other than that I will be in Munich in June and plan to visit them to try a Cutlass because nowhere near me is one

a few years back i dealed with them. it was o.k. for me...and i guess for them as well...
maybe they make you better prices at the shop and try to get the most profit out of online sales...don't know.
their used prices are not from this earth! that's right.

for browsing the net and take a look at different MMs, it's one of the best places you can find.

They really stock a lot of great MM but I doubt you 'll get discounts at the shop.

I recently tried to lower the price of a Luke III Neptune blue 2014 to 3000 €. They refused.

I bought a second hand Olive gold instead. ( Not from them)
