    Question Questions for Majesty owners

Just got my brand new Majesty yesterday (Artisan 7 string Nero). I'll do a NGD post later after work, but in the meantime I had two questions:

    1. Aside from the guitar, what should be included in the case. I guess I was under the impression any of the tools for truss rod and bridge adjustments would be included but they were not in my case.

    2. What do you folks here do with the whammy bar when putting the guitar in the case? Remove it, or leave it in? Mine was shipped to me with it in.

    Thanks

    Congrats on the Majesty!!!

Mine did not include tools - the case included a pickup switching chart and a sealed packed with bumper stickers and samples of wonder wipes, and I think a small folded color hang tag. My whammy bar was off, and I take it off each time - i have never had luck closing the case without depressing it, although others have.

Mine came with 2 tags. One was a "premium guitar string" tag and the other was the warranty registration tag.

Aside from that, a small padded manila envelope with a control function diagram, battery install sheet and 2 case lock keys.

That's about it. The tool you need for truss rod adjustment is pretty non-specific. Any small screwdriver, allen wrench, or metal rod of an appropriate diameter to fit in the wheel will suffice.

In the 2 years I've had my Majesty. I've had the trem bar out of it maybe twice for a short period of time. The case is made so you can store the guitar with the bar installed.

never took the tremolo arm for any of my Jps or Luke guitars I had
as stated the case is made specifically to allow the bar installed and love this feature, every case should have it :P

Yes same here no goodies in the case :-( on the point of the trem arm I have to take it out with my majesty case there is no gap for it to rest without it being pressed in !!! All my other EBMM cases are fine though IE Luke /Axis SS you can leave the arm in without any problems. Enjoy the Majesty they are awesome guitars ;-).

I received the same case candy as above with both of my Majesty guitars. I never take the tremolo bar off as the Majesty case offers clearance for it in the lid.

I have the Ernie Ball Musician's Tool Kit for tune-ups, and bought a trimpot adjustment tool to fine tune the boost and piezo settings. I also have the Dunlop JP95 Wah, and may fine tune the boost as it's set really loud from the factory. Otherwise, the JP EQ & Q settings sound fantastic.

Ok, now, it is tru that there is cavity for trem bar and actually I was leaving untill yesterday. I checked and I do not think that this is a good idea. Just plunk the string and slowly close case - You will hear sound lowering since the case is pressing whammy bar. Now, I would assume that there is a minimum contact, but looks like not. Anyone can check it?

Well. if there wasn't any pressure on the bar, it would just swing around inside the case.

fair comment. I have to think how to test the amount of pressure, but agree. Some pressure to fix baar is reasonable.
