    The buff job looks fabulous!
Cuda! 383 six pack, 4spd, notchback, black. Drove it for the first time yesterday, around 20 miles to get home from the shop. No major issues so I'll be wet sanding/buffing this afternoon.
Have you got G.A.S. for another EBMM???

Here's a "before" shot. Once the buffing is done I'll have a shot of the finished project, or email me for current pics - it was a great experience for me learning how to weld (essentially the floors & back half of the car are new), deciding on what suspension to install for the best handling, picking out brakes, restoring the instrument cluster, re-upholstering the interior of the car on my dining room table, etc. Previously I had only done a few engine builds in other cars.

Pete - the floors and back half are new? From the pics looks like it didn't come with a front half!

Can't wait to see it, buddy!!!!

So would the same treatment work on the satin finished sub guitars and basses?
That looks gorgeous by the way

The Sterling by MM SUB instruments with satin finish would probably have the same results. I've got a honey burst satin 5-string here that I may buff for a customer - if he opts for the buffing I will update with the final product.

The EBMM S.U.B. series from 2004-2006 used a textured finish, personally I would not try buffing one of those.

    EDIT:

Upon further thought: I have a Sahara Burst JP157 here that would be worthy of a buffed finish, maybe I'll try that later today.

I did mean the sub by sterling, i don't think the USA subs would look very good but hey, you never know until you try, would be a shame to ruin one though.

Well, yes. The rear floors, quarters, and rocker panels are all new sheet metal. The doors, fenders, hood, and trunk lid all came from different donor Barracudas. Essentially the only sheet metal original to this car is the front floor, the cowl, firewall, roof, and front/rear valence panels. I went through several tanks of argon w/ the welder.

We finished the buffing last week so I added the trim around the glass and took it for a drive over the weekend. It handles like a go-kart, and now has 44 miles on the odometer.

    Quick picture

Very impressive Mr. Pete.... looks fabulous! Love that styling!

"handles like a go cart" ??? hmmmm....
I drove a '72 Celica for many years in my younger days, and that actually felt like a big go cart. Really loved & enjoyed that tiny car!
Any old 'merican iron would require serious suspension mods and diet to come even close....
    Enjoy Your Balls!!!
