Love love love my Armada. It's got mojo for days.

For guys used to Morse's or especially the older Petrucci's, it fits very differently on the strap. Look at where the straplocks are compared to the Morse. If you're a les paul player it's probably pretty close to that.

However, there's something about that guitar that I can't put down. Play it all the time.

Honest truth - they are not for me visually. In fact, I think they are outright ugly. BUT that's of course a very personal matter of taste. I have no doubt about the quality and tones... it's a MM instrument after all

I wouldn't even think about trying one, to risky as I would probably have to hammer the credit card as I am sure I would want it after trying.

I have that view of the AL. Visually it does nothing for me but I am sure its a beast to play like all MM guitars.

I played one once. It was not for me... the neck is thick and very wide, very opposite of most EBMM necks... even more so than my old JP Standard Faded 50's neck. If you like wide and chunky... this is your girl!

Just got mine... NGD post coming. Flash is right, it's sooo different from all the other EBMMs I own or have tried. I wasn't crazy about the neck at first but it's growing on me the more I play it. Much more LP-like.

Hey Guys, I'm new here looking at a PRS or SC245. Can I get some advice please? One time purchase.

I advise you to play an EBMM and buy an Armada

    HA!

But yes, some (possibly many) of us are EBMM fans because we tried a bunch of other stuff and didn't get along with them. PRS are great guitars, beautifully made, that personally can't stand playing. Just not my cup of tea.

I do not work for EBMM. I'm just a moderator.

Sorry - I should have thought my reply through! - I have 2 PRS guitars and as Dr Kev says they are lovely but not for everyone, - if you're near a music store I recommend you take the afternoon and AB what catches your eye in EBMM & PRS both are amazing, but at the end of the day it's down to what makes you smile.
