    Jaw-dropping Tahitian Quilt Morse

These guitars are out of this world! I'm such a sucker for a nice blue quilt that I'm seriously considering one for myself. Here's #62/69, and the quilt is insane.

I'm digging the big beefy neck - but am lost with only one three-way switch!

    That's easily fixed

Wire it up with a 5-way and go for a coil split and parallel wiring, or like an Axis Super Sport

They tested fine - I don't want them to depreciate by getting my grubby paws all over in a full-on test drive.

    Hi

My first post , just received my new Morse BFR, what a fantastic great sounding and looking axe ! I am also considering expanding the tonal range of the instrument with a 5 way switch and probably a push pull, but noticed two things :

    - the pots seem to be 250K not 500K as advertised by some dealers (regular Morse value)
    - I am not sure the custom DiMarzios are 4 conductors buckers because I can only see the hot lead and the ground one (i.e red and green) in the current wiring but maybe the black and white lead were taped inside the cable and hidden.

I asked Ernie Ball about this but did not get any feedback yet. Any information on your side ?

For your info too, compared to the Y2D Darklord I own I find this model to be slightly brighter, so I believe 250K is still the way to go with these custom Dimarzio pickups

    Cheers
