    NOW IT CAN BE TOLD...

I remember the Guitar Center tour that BP, Morse, and Luke did about 10 years ago.
Caught them in 2 of them.
I remember at one of them when Luke switched to the 25th from his sig model, i thought...holy crap! He sounds even better with that one.
    What just happened?

This from a guy (me) who was a dedicated LUKE player for 5 years at that point

    Awesome score mate!

I totally agree with you too - the 25th is a killer guitar; I'd be very hard pressed to let it go - amazing tops, and neck figuring (your's is one of the best I've seen!).

Personally, I prefer it to the Axis as its a bit bigger and feels better when playing.

Definitely a shame the Reflex didn't work out - but as most are commenting now, its plain looks compared to the other BFR offerings available at the time might have been a contributing factor? Just guessing. That said, I'd love to get a white one, maple board and black binding one day

Enjoy your new Axe - its top of the line

The LIII is my holy grail, but I have a 25th anniversary that I will never sell. It is an amazing guitar that really sounds great, and a nice change from the LIII. Yours has a cool flame top and a very flamey neck. Great score. Enjoy!!!

Thanks - that white Reflex you mention is the EXACT one I had. I didn't realize what I had. Live and learn I guess.

Many congrats on buying one of the best guitars ever made. And welcome to the 25THOC!

I've got Joe Bonamassa to thank for mine. Saw him in 2009, he worked his way through the usual array of jaw-dropping, awesome sounding guitars. Then pulled out this beautiful red guitar for a couple of numbers that topped the lot. I A/B'd Reflexes with a lot of top-end guitars after that, they always came out top. When the opportunity came to pick up a 25th when I was on holiday in the US in 2012 I couldn't resist. I still can't believe the killer deal I got on it.

Enjoy - it's a guitar that keeps on giving...

Totally agree with you. The 25th is my favorite out of all of them. I still love my Pink Axis, but I play the 25th more. The chambered body and the arm contour is what I love the most. If I ever find one with a Rosewood neck at the right price, I'd probably get it just to have one.

Also, agree and wish that EBMM made the Reflex with quilt tops like the 25th as well as covered pickups. The guitar center special edition ones looked cool but needed covered pickups to look right because of the pickup rings. I also liked the solid colors but I guess they have to make what sells.

2014 - Axis Super Sport Semi-Hollow (Reflex mod) - Black Cherry Burst
    2016 - Cutlass - Vintage Sunburst
    2017 - St. Vincent - Stealth Black

Wow, that is a really great score! One of the more beautiful necks I've ever seen, I think. Congrats, and have fun!

Great score and nice top. I'm currently hunting for a 25th, but haven't found the right one for me yet. Tops are unique in my eyes, like masterpiece paintings, so as soon as the right one is found it'll be mine. Had I seen yours, there might have been a bidding war.
