My guess: Pete has one of the AL BFRs in stock and can't show it for another couple of weeks.

Wow only made 75, that's pretty cool. I really love the color, but way too rich for me at this time. Plus for me painted head stock is a deal breaker.

Looks like an orange/red mix, Orange Crush Sparkle. I'm sure it looks awesome in person.

I'm surprised they didn't put a coil split on it.

    Thanx for the link.

It's a very, very cool color!!!

You know how much I love this guitar model. How much admiration I have for mr Albert Lee. That my respect for MM never failed... so I'll say it this way : what we are offered and what I was (we were) hoping for are wwwwaaaayyy different. I'm sure some guys will love it. I'm really happy for them. But I'm afraid orange, inlays & binding...won't thrill everyone.

Won't thrill everyone, sure, but it doesn't have to. BFR runs are not exercises in crowd pleasing. There are only 75 pieces being made. Every small BFR run will sell all instruments to people who love 'em. It's all cool.

Sure. All cool. Glad for MM and the fans who'll buy these BFR's . Fact is the Neptune Blue or Starry Night were more consensual. Everybody loved those.

See, I'd have never gone for a Starry Night (or any sparkle finish) but that's just me. But yes, Neptune Blue was great. The Honey Roast PDN before it was also awesome.
