EBMM Majesty Monarchy 6 neck profile

    Hi all,

I was lucky enough to try a range of music man guitars at an event in California, and the majesty monarchy has the most comfortable neck carve I have ever played! Rounded, not as flat as an Ibanez for example, but quite thin and fast feeling.

As I live in the north of England, and sadly not the guitar-abound golden state, these guitars are really hard to come by to try.

The EB website has the basic specs, 17" radius etc., but nothing detailed. I'd like to know some detailed measurements, digital calipers style, which would explain the neck carve. Obviously this can only be done properly with the strings off!

If anyone has these details to hand or can measure up for me, it would be most appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Craig

Feels around 0.780-0.790" at the first fret. I'm using these dimensions because that's the neck on my Suhr, which feels similar. Of course the majesty neck is wider so the feel is pretty different. They did a good job on that neck, it's a great profile.

Can’t tell you about the numbers, except it feels like it has a little thicker shoulders than my JP6, and that makes all the difference. It is just about the best profile I have felt.

Majesty Monarchy Imperial Blue born 1/23/18
Cutlass SSS Ivory White born 6/13/16

I was recently asked this question in regards to the Majesty Koa BFR that we have here.

The neck thickness beneath the first fret is approximately 0.70"
Neck thickness beneath the 12th fret is approximately 0.85"
    ---does not include fret height.
