    Production date:

    Model:
    Petrucci Piezo
    SN: G51832

    Build code:
    961 TP RE 00 CS PP

    Please let me know what the code means.

    That guitar was part of a Guitar Center special run. I know that I use to understand the build codes better, but I'm sure that someone (cough Pete Dubaldo cough) should be able to help.

    I always thought that run of the JP6 was the nicest in my opinion.

    961 is the body code for a JP6 with piezo.
    TP is the color code
    RE is the neck code (roasted maple with ebony)
    00 is the pickguard code (none)

    That is our build code which is used in manufacturing to determine which parts and what colors go on each instrument. If you ever have questions or any issues with the Serial Number Database please shoot me an email at customerexperience@ernieball.com.
