Exclamation NYNGD: New Year's New Guitar Days! NYNGD #2020-1

    .
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year, everyone! Welcome to Day 1 of my annual New Year's New Guitar Days (NYNGD)!

OK, guys and girls (...are there any women here? If so, welcome! Let us know you're here below!). Off we go on what has become an annual tradition! Every year, I am a slacker about keeping my Guitar Gallery up to date... So, as a fun holiday thing, let's launch a guitar in the Guitar Gallery each day as we ring in 2021! I have done my homework and will launch one guitar per day until the grand finale on New Year's Eve! (The past few years I got a late start and finished in January or February).

You'll also note that I took the photos up a notch in size for 2020. Bandwidth generally isn't an issue for folks anymore, so let's up the resolution!

Before we begin: In the past I've received PM's about my collection and whether I play all of these guitars. The same question came up during my NYNGD posts a few years ago and my answer was pretty detailed and well thought-out, so please check it out here!

Even though I set out to roll easy this year, GAS took hold as always and I again bought too many guitars. Some new, some used, all EBMM!

This year's first guitar is pink! Er... purple! Er... fuschia! This Axis BFR, a sparkly stunner in Fuschia Sparkle, is a limited run produced for The Music Zoo right here on Long Island, NY. Just look at the roasted maple neck on this guy! Holy moly! Otherwise, it's an Axis as we all know and love it. Sounds great, plays great! You should see this under stage lights (not that it has been there, pandemic, etc.....).

There you go, folks! Another guitar coming tomorrow!

(The back story in case you're new to my NYNGD: For the past couple of years I've done a fun thing that most of you I think enjoyed, and I thought I would do it again this year. Every year, I am a slacker about keeping my Guitar Gallery up to date... So, as a fun holiday thing, let's launch a guitar in the Guitar Gallery each day leading up to New Years Eve! In the past I've received PM's about my collection and whether I play all of these guitars. The same question came up during my NYNGD posts a few years ago and my answer was pretty detailed and well thought-out, so please check it out here!)

(Also, in case anybody gets any funny ideas -- these guitars are not at my house. They are all in my very secure and alarmed studio facility. I usually only have two guitars floating around the house...)

Wow... if that was a blue sparkle, it would be that much better, but it still is awesome!

Damn man. I really love that color! My trans-pink Axis finally has competition. I've always loved the solid color Axis and wish they'd do more. Amazing start to your 2020 reveal!
