    My neglected Axis

    Gave some much needed love to this beauty today. Hadnít played it since probably some time last summer & no idea how old the strings were. Have been playing mostly my Sabres lately, but the Axis still feels like home.

    Kinda reminds me of the starry night finish on the Jul. 2020 Baritone Axis SS. I'm partial to translucent myself, but that's beautiful.

    In the picture, yes, in person it's a totally different color, kind of rainbow'ish if memory servers me right.
