I have a 2016 (first year pre-roasted neck) and it is not, and a 2018 roasted neck which is. That said, the 2016 is still comfortable.

Got really lucky yesterday. found a mint one in coral red. I had one of those pointy red ones years agp. Paid $945 used. Now they are $2599. I must be getting old. Anyway the albert lee escaped. Must have left the window open and guitar saw its chance to escape my poor playing. They can only put up with so many clams(sour notes). Its a local term. First heard it by this outstanding player that worked in a shop that sold used guitars and we all used to hang there. My friend who didn't have much money got a call from Earl (the real player). Some rich kid had left an ES335 with a figured maple top over a translucent in his driveway, put a tiny place on the headstock and my friend bought it. That was at least 30 years ago. Still has it.

    Sorry for the blather,

    Brent
