    Pickup switch location

Just purchased my first EB Sterling.
I cannot find any other information about my problem.
The pickup switch is placed right in the strumming path. I am hitting it constantly or racking my knuckles to avoid it. Support: move it or get a smaller one. Thats fine but any thoughts on doing it?

I would suggest you get a different model or modify your strum location. I have two SbMM JP100Ds, and that can be a problem sometimes though I tend to strum over the neck pickup/end of fingerboard.

You could try rotating the switch sideways so it switches front to back instead of up and down. This way it's easier to see which pickup is selected and less likely a random strum will knock it out of position.

    Just a thought...
