Help, I'm running out of hiding places for my balls!!

    Help!!!

Does anyone have any "good" hiding places to keep their toys in (men, you know what I mean)? I've run out of places to hide my balls. The next UPS delivery may need to be (I hate to say it) re-scheduled.

Need help fast for good reliable "hiding" information. Unique places that have been time tested (mostly by married men), they're the best at this!

Let's keep the women off this thread too if we can - this could be our downfall if we don't!

Men united for non-disclosure of balls.

I'm sorry man...I can't help ya. Tough situation. Unfortunately, my wife keeps telling me I need more Balls.

For the record, yes I know how lucky I am!

In back of closets, behind doors, under beds, behind bookcases, etc. What I do is leave it hidden for a while, only taking it out to practice when no one is home. Then putting it away. After a year or so, just take it out, and leave it out. If asked if it's a new bass you can honestly answer "No, I've had that for a long time."

Try sneaking in a new URB sometime.

I basically did what Pete did I took over a closet that just was fully of junk, they stand up nicely and are arranged so I can access them. I use to keep them in all kinds of places, but the closet works the best in my opinion.

I use "I'm just borrowing this one from the store" and it works great. Of course filling 2 closets and stacking more up behind the couch doesn't exactly keep them hidden...

If you really want to hide it, put it in plain sight. Oh, wait... that only works on men.
    hahahahaha!! Nice try.

    Ha - good one Janice...

But really, I was about to say the same thing. "Hide" them out in the open... The key is to announce their arrival way in advance, in subtle ways.

"I stopped by GC and was checking out a Bongo HHp..."

"I spoke to Pete and got a quote on a Bongo HHp"...

"Ooh... I really could use a Bongo HHp...

Then a few months go by and it magically "appears" and there's the usual "You got another bass?" to which I respond "Honey, it's the one I've been telling you about - the one I bought a few months back... It just arrived."

    It's all about the bass!

I've got an unfinished basement that my wife refuses to go into because she says it's creepy. Works out great for me for short-term storage.

I tried that but my 5 year old daughter has a habit of saying in front of the wife "Daddy, is that a new guitar?"

Now, these are some real "clever" ideas, and they've changed my whole outlook!! I feel like a new person, the day has dawned, I can breathe again, I feel re-born, I can face the world, nothing can stop me now, I dont' mind paying taxes. . . . . . ., whoaaaaa, what did I just say!!!! Ah, let's back up a bit, that's taking it a little too far, we'll just end on the ". . . .nothing can stop me now!

Still a Fan of Full Disclosure...

Not to pat myself on the back, but this morning I successfully managed the conversation to get to one of my favorite phrases:

    "Honey, do whatever you want..."

Delivered in a non-sarcastic, though suspiciously deliberate tone...

Bingo! One less bass to hide - one more bass on the wall!

TNT just to save you from a horrible fate. I believe you should hide them in Kansas.

a bass is too large to be hidden from a woman.. they can darn well sniff out your old collection of playboys that you keep hidden so well.. hehe.. i swear they have some extra receptors in their nose detecting anything "illegal"

my mistake (hehe.. the bongo) did cost me half a bongo worth of jewelry.. not that the bongo was a mistake, just the information "delay"

    MrM
just put flats on the bongo!!
just put roundwounds on your fretless!!

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!
