    Post Our Desert Jeep Tour - A Pictorial Review!

    For those of you who did not see it, here's what it was like...


    Jeeps picked us up right at the hotel and we were on our way!

    This canal brings water from the Colorado river into the area to irrigate the farmland.

    Sink-hole? Hey, we're right along the San Andres fault!

    Here's what the palm trees look like naturally.

    And they lose their lower, dried leaves to fire -
    usually due to lighting strikes or spontaneous combustion due to friction.

    Nice Pics. Speaking of faults, we just had two earthquakes last night that shook me out of my sleep. We are always rocking and rolling here .

    Great pics !I love the deserts and western towns . I have not got as far as CA but went through TX , NM and AZ a few years back on a big road trip . We took a jeep tour as well as a trail ride on horses in Sedona AZ....awsome
    BTW , jeep drivers all carried SA revolvers....said they were for snakes
