My depression was sidetracked fighting with the airlines to get home. Some ass-clown gave away my seat (seat assigned & boarding pass) though I was in the airport. Just was away from the gate for a few minutes.

Same ass-clown put me on the redeye and sent me to LA ... only to discover that next flight was oversold and they didn't want to put me on it. But a day later I got home ... and finally got my luggage at midnight yesterday.

And with that over ... now I'm in withdrawl At least my g/f was sweet enough to set up my forum award at the breakfast table this morning.

I'm sad that I'm going to have to refer to all you folks again by your user name. And associate you with your avatar. I wish we had more time together!

I'm so glad we had this time together,
Just to have a laugh, or strum a BFR.
Seems we just got started and before you knew it,
Came the time we had to say..."Hey Fred, can we have a ride to the airport?"

We hung with Luke and Steve and Dave and Dave and Tyler,
Big Poppa had his entire crew.
AJ, Beth and Kevin, and of course JoDizzle,
We'd have been lost all weekend if it weren't for you.

When the time comes that I'm feelin lonely,
And I'm feelin' ohooooo - so blue,
I just sit back and think of knucklehead parties only,
All the booze and fun and Bar-B-Q.

That's why I'm glad we had this time together,
'Cause it makes me feel like I belong.
Even though Pete Dubaldo has got all of my money,
I know that we will be back again before too long.

Thanks BP & crew! Till next time! (sniffle...sniffle)

It's always hard to get my head back into Real Life after an Ernie Ball Event.

I mean, one day I'm hanging with BP and sharing Stage Fright Stories with Tony Levin, the next day my wife is asking, "Can you do some laundry?"

Ah well. I'm doing some laundry. Keeping it real.

    *sigh*

That's alright, Jackie, Tony's probably doing laundry too. I am!

It was awesome fun and great to see all of you!!! I'm exhausted. I feel like I've been through three consecutive NAMM shows! (aka "hit by a truck")

I'm ready to move to California.

    The wife isn't, though.

Will my Bongos fit in your truck?

    (Sounds like another euphemism.)

Tyler has a funny euphemism story.

One night after a gig, he tells his mother that he's going to have some cake at this girl, so-and-so's house. My brother asked him, "Is that a euphemism?" Tyler says, "What's a euphemism?" We explain. After we get loaded up, Tyler looks at us and says, "I'm gonna go have a euphemism with so-and-so."
