SAme here, first set came on my first MusicMan bass. I have no idea what they are gaugewise, etc. I'm pretty sure they're nickels. Other than that I have no idea. Anybody know what their stock string is for basses sold? I bought the SUB if that matters. I like the strings. . .nice!

I first got some Power Slinkys. I just went to a local shop one day and bought 3 different brands. Some daddarios lasted me a week, some elixers(BIG waste of money) lasted four days, and my EBs are still in great shape

Super Slinky bass gauge 45-100 is standard for all 4 string MM basses leaving the factory.

Regular Slinky 5 string 45-130 is the standard 5 string set for for all 5 string basses.

    Thanks

    Derek
