    RPS vs. Plain Slinky's

So I'm waiting for the free strings EB's going to send me for registering my Petrucci, but figure I should probably pick up a couple of sets just in case.

Anyhow, I can't seem to find the RPS strings around at any of my local shops. I know I can order them online.

Is there a big difference between the RPS vs. regular slinky's?

    Thanks,
    fred

Rps strings have an extra wrap around the ball end to help with breakage associated with tremelo use. Try them. They can be ordered from any EB dealer.

    Thanks

    Derek,
Thanks for the info. I was just curious why none of my local shops carried the RPS strings.

    I'll order some online.
