string troubles with FR double locking trem

i have a guitar with a floyd rose double locking trem system. I love ernie ball strings but i heard that because of their elasticity, they can't keep the bridge in position. Is this true? If so, is this the case for all ernie ball strings?

I think someone has been telling you non-truths.

Just take a look at the people that endorse/use Ernie Ball strings, do you think that there would be as many if they didn't work with floating trems?

I'd get yourself a set and try them for yourself. Then slap the person who told you they wouldn't work!!

Steve Vai uses EBs and nobody uses the trem more than the man Himself, Mr. Vai.
