i have a guitar with a floyd rose double locking trem system. I love ernie ball strings but i heard that because of their elasticity, they can't keep the bridge in position. Is this true? If so, is this the case for all ernie ball strings?

i have a guitar with a floyd rose double locking trem system. I love ernie ball strings but i heard that because of their elasticity, they can't keep the bridge in position. Is this true? If so, is this the case for all ernie ball strings?
I think someone has been telling you non-truths.
Just take a look at the people that endorse/use Ernie Ball strings, do you think that there would be as many if they didn't work with floating trems?
I'd get yourself a set and try them for yourself. Then slap the person who told you they wouldn't work!!![]()

I was thinking that, but thought i'd better check it out just incase.. didnt wana restring the whole thing then have 2 start over.. plus i wana stick 2 ernie ball! lol...
