An observation about Earthwood acoustic strings

So the little brown packages that the strings come in smell strongly of brown sugar Is the typical or was somebody eating on the job? I love how after a month they still smell sooo good!

Not only do the strings sound amazing, but when I feel down I can go sniff a package of strings! EBMM rules.

Hee hee! So funny coming from someone whose forum name is "Bass & Cookies"

I don't think that smell was on purpose, but it DOES give you more of the "playing guitar barefoot in the forest" feel, doesn't it?

I went and sniffed a bunch of packs in the shipping department -- they do smell like brown sugar or maple syrup...

It actually is our top secret way of getting Canada to buy more Earthwoods!
