i love ernie ballz ther the first strings i put on my guitar i wouldve been playin for a year now but my guitar broke A LOT anyways i want to know which set i should put on. ive tried power slinky and skinny top heavy bottom. wut should i try next ive liked the others i just want to know wut i like best and i figure guidance and error will work

Are you breaking some strings more than others? Are they breaking in the same place every time?

Most of the time, when you break a lot of strings it'll be either due to a problem with the saddle or it'll be down to a problem with your right hand technique... changing strings might not address the problem.

You just want a recommendation for some strings? You need to give more information before anyone can suggest anything.

What sort of guitar do you play?
What sort of music do you play?
You say you liked the strings you already had, do you think they were lacking in any way?

As an aside, in what way did your guitar break?

my bridge broke. i play a squier (workin on somethin better but my mom doesn't like good guitars for they have big price tags) i don't think the other strings were lacking in any way i just wanted to try some new ones because i wanted to know which ones that i like best. i live in a small city and so i can only get, power slinky, hybrid slinky, regular slinky, and skinny top heavy bottom and i think that they have super slinky and extra slinky. *sarcasm* i love sam goody *sarcasm* (thats were i have to buy strings)

What happened to the bridge?

You might want to try the regular slinkies... after powers, supers might be a bit too floppy

one of my saddles broke and i didn't get it fixed for a while but its gonna be fixed tonight i think i need to buy some new ones cuz i lost them and you don't have t tell me that im stupid cuz i figured that one out. *smacks head very hard repeatedly* and as soon as my guitar is fixed ill get some regulars

If you took the guitar in to be fixed, you might have been better off asking the shop to fit the strings and set it up.

As it is, the guitar is likely to need a degree of adjustment before it will play well, certainly since you're swapping string gauges a lot.

It might actually be a good thing to learn how to do this now...

the bell rang before so i couldn't finish my sentance (im in school right now) but i wanted to try not even slinky and if they are good i will have him set them up for me o and thanx for all the ppl who have helped so far
