    Question ernie ball hybrids

I recently bought a used ibanez guitar and I am wondering what strings are on it. I am kind of a new guitarist, I have been playing for a long time but have been using my fathers guitar and I just got this guitar and have never purchased strings before. the strings that are on it are multi colored on the end thing (the thing that keeps the string in the bridge?) they are colors like red, green and purple. my friend says he thinks they are ernie ball hybrids but isnt sure. does anyone have some and if so are the end things colored? i am going to buy some strings soon and would like to know. thanks.

Those "things" are called ball-ends my friend. Those strings are not EB's .. those are a horse of a different color. Would be good to switch over to EB's now though Slinkys are so versatile .. from begginners to legends!!

    Give 'em a try!!

oh, ok thanks I am going to get some but I have no clue which set would be the best for drop c tuning. I was thinking skinny top heavy bottom strings?

I wouls suggest the "Not Even Slinkys" or the "Beefy Slinkys"
    They are optimal for detuning
