Just bought some Skinny Top Heavy Bottom Strings

Hi everyone, I just bought a set of strings Skinny Top Heavy Bottom, (gauge: 10 13 17 30 42 52) I wanna tune my guitar to Drop C (CGCFAD) but my guitar has a Floyd Rose tremolo. How do I have to set up my guitar to tune them like that, because I've tried and the 3 first strings always go out of tune, please help!

    Charlie,

    That's easy!!!

First off, is it a floating trem or a non-floating trem? I will assume it's a floating trem. Either way, it is just a matter of set up.

    1. Be sure to "stretch" your strings completely out, otherwise you will be there for quite a while tuning and re-tuning.

    2. Once the strings are stretched out completely, then just determine if your trem stays up a little too much or goes down a little too much (from being level) after you use the bar.

    3. Then just adjust you "tension" springs a little tighter or looser until you have the trem come to rest level after you use the bar.

Ta da!!! It's now in tune!!!
