    Best EB Strings for me?

I have searched the forums a bit but haven't found anything specific.

I own an Epiphone SG and need new strings for it. From the EB range what do you recommend?

I play a variety of classic stuff (The Who, Eagles to John Mellencamp to Crowded House, Men at Work and other Aussie bands) if that makes a difference.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hey Mc,

I would recommend the Super Slinkys Classic "Rock n Roll"!!! They are "awesome" - absolute pure nickel.

More precious than gold!!! You're gonna love em'!!!

Any ideas on gauge size? 'Regular' is about what I normally go for.

Well, I like 9's (and they are the most popular size). Just depends on your preference for the feel at the fingertips. They give me a slightly "looser" feeling, and they fit me perfectly.

You're on a 24.75 scale guitar so the 10's would be fine there too.

Since 9's are somewhat right in the middle, it's a good place to start, because then you'll have your bearings down for which way you may want to go with the next string change.
