My earlier post on the VPJR woes was closed - never had that happen to me on any ther forum.
The suggestion of calling customer services is welcome, but I'm from the UK and this would be a costly call.
Was hoping to get some help from these forums,

You may blame me, if you'd like, for closing your thread.
You have a three year old volume pedal with possibly a bad pot. What can the forum offer you? "Replace the pot"? That's about it, I'd think. And only you know what the VP has been subjected to....not saying you abused it, but three years down the road, the warranty simply cannot apply.
If you're in the UK, call Strings and Things, the distributor, and see if they can order a part for you.
Now I'm going to close this one, too.
