This may be a bit of a tangent...but a friend of mine once worked in the Phillipines distributing hearing aids. One problem is the very high humidity there is horrible on anything metal or electronic.

Just wondering if you should be using the EB coated strings in that environment?

I've been thinking about that, since I got a new coated 9-42 that Stiffness sent to me....

Ahh, so they are coated. Please let us know how coated strings handle the humidity.

    Cheers and Happy Holidays.

Before I switched to Ernie Ball, I used another manufacturer's coated strings while living in the Philippines. Of course, I bought them while I was back home here in the U.S. Those worked great, and the strings lasted a good, long while. It's proof that the concept should work well. This was long before EB made coated strings.
