New Artists - Bonamassa, Mayer

Hi.

It seems that Joe Bonamassa is sponsored by Ernie Ball and he plays Ernie Ball Slinkys Strings lately - i know he played Pure Nickel Strings all the time (Dean Markley) - John Mayer too he always used Pure Nickel Strings (D´Addario).

I can´t imagine that they now play Slinkys (Nickel Plated) and not Pure Nickel - so please give me some first-hand informations about that.

thx! that is really interesting - i really thought that the strings would be pure nickel strings (ernie ball classic pure nickels)... usually a switch from pure nickel to nickel plated strings causes some difference in tone...
