can't find the right bass strings

    Hey!

I would like you to help me to find "my strings", I'm looking for the most fat and deep sound that I can get, I use a MM SR4 H and I dont know what kind of strings she have right now (I bought it second handed few weeks ago).
Can you direct me to the right strings?

I also read about strings and I find out that there is the scale length issue, I would like to know what is my scale length? (I have 21-frets...)

Thanks! And sorry about my English,
    Gil.

Group 1 flats would be a good choice. scale length is 34 on your bass.

    Thanks for the quick answers!
If I would like to put a thicker set of strings (like 050 or something), what is the best way to expand the space in the nut?

I've just put a fresh set of Stainless Steel Regular Slinky Bass .050 - .105 on my 91 EBMM Sabre (normal, uncompensated nut) and did not have to expand the nut at all.

    Cheers
