Exclamation EBMM 12 String Acoustic Slinkys.............

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but it says that two of the strings are 20 guage, one is listed as "w" the other is "p"................I was thinking of trying a couple of sets, what is the difference between these strings? Is one wound and the other wire?

Have you played them? Seems like a 20 guage wire (plain) could be a little stiff? I would assume it would be one of the "G" strings..................

    Lightbulb Ummmm...................

Never mind my previous question................ I am primarily a bass player, and have not gotten out my 12 string acoustic for some time. I just looked and realized that due to the octave difference, some of the higher (Lower Note) strings are paired wound with plain wire...............I usually just have to decide Roundwound or Flatwound!
