    Coated Acoustic Phosphor Bronze

I just tried my first set of Ernie Ball Coated Phosphor Bronze strings. I would have tried them earlier, but I had a bunch of other-branded sets to go through. I'm happy to report they are just as good as every other Ernie Ball string I've ever used and they will now be my string of choice on my Taylor 315ce.

Anyone else using EB Coated Acoustic strings?

I've used the Coated 80/20s and dig them. The only thing I found about about them, and this has happened to me with other 80/20 sets so it might have something to do with the way I sweat or something, was that they stayed nice bright for a long time and then just fell off of a cliff tonally. The change happened over like a two day period after a long time (might have been 6-8 weeks).
