Nice one Ali - think I'll have to post my site sometime soon when I get a completed track on it - its all good fun! Did you find the Line6 easy to use - I was looking at getting one to sketch stuff down - I am learning to use Sonar and I'm not a natural!!!

Thanks for the kind words folks. My ego is intact!!! I'm under no illusions as to my abilities but I'm too old to want to be a signed up rock star these days and it's all for my own amusement.

Toneport was a piece of cake to use once I realised you can only get it to play through internal speakers when Garageband is open! I ended up using a preset tone for speed ("Thick n Juicy" it was called!!!!!) and altering it to suit the lead parts. Everything is on the Luke and the drums are basically two Garageband drum tracks playing at the same time. I always do that as it seems to sound less dead than just one.

Think I'll try something a bit slower next, now that I've vented steam on that one

Try fileden.com. It's free but be warned...sometimes they crash cause of all the traffic.
