    Holy Schnikes!

And to think what might have happened. So glad you left your AL at home.

Seriously though, glad you are okay. It's funny (in an odd, not humorous way) to hear about people like you who have these bad car accidents and are basically okay. My wife defends against people suing on fender benders (accidents at 10 mph and less) all the time and it's amazing, after an attorney gets a hold of them how "injured" they realize they were.

Now - with you - an accident like that - whew - I'm just glad you're walking and talking! Good luck on the recoop! I always find playing my guitar makes me feel better - give it a shot.

I got Albert out if the case today. Gave it a go for a while and then curled up on the sofa for a snooze - that diazapam kinda "calms you down"!

I've been doing a lot of road miles and this trip was gonna be the final one for a while.
I only left Albert home because I had 4 flip chart easles, suitcase and (large) briefcase. I thought "Hell I'm not gonna have that much time to play it".

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Spud,

Sorry I hadn't caught this thread earlier...

Wow! Glad you made it through. I can't imagine how everything changed in that one instant.

Some friends called round today - brought some guitar mags and some DVDs
Robert Plant and Jimmy Page "No Quarter" - good stuff !
and a Tommy Emmanuel Live at Sheldon Concert Hall Saint Louis (kinda nice as I have family there).

So sore at the moment - all kinds of bruises coming out.
Looking forward to a couple of days time when I can probably get out and about.
    Thanks for the messages guys.

...glad that the AL is good, and that all is good (the latter being of most importance!)

Get some rest, and take it easy, pal.
