    Order of stomp boxes?

    OK, I have a Dunlpo Dan-Echo, MXR Phase 90, Dunlop Octave distortion, Flanger, and a Cry Baby Wah. What order should I have them in from guitar to amp? Thanks!

    I predict you'll get responses all over the map on this one, as the best solution is "whatever sounds good to you". Nonetheless, here's where I'd start:

    Guitar->Wah->Phase90->Flanger->Dan-Echo->Octave Distortion->amp

    Put the wah right before the amp, then you can use the wah To change the other effects.

    My set up:
    Fender Mexican Strat in tri burst
    Marshall JCM2000 DSL 401
    Marshall guv'nor GV2
    Jim Dunlop Cry Baby

    I think it depends on what each pedal does to your signal in bypass mode. You want as much of the original tone as possible. Usually I put the wah first as I can then put any compression after it and make sure the wah isn't getting out of hand. SteveB has a good setup, and yeah it's a personal preference thing.
