    mmmmmmm WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was pretty crap, i didn't like it, firstly he's gotta get rid of that sustainer, aahhh good god, i watched the film clip for Rise, and looks cheap, crap, and the music ain't much better, sorry l know there are huge EVH fans here, but sorry, and the whole fusion thing EVH is trying to do, DON'T, leave that to the guys that can do it, like Luke, Petrucci, Morse etc etc etc.

And whatever people do, DON'T WATCH THE TRAILER FOR THE MOVIE!!!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Scott.

I watched it and was PMSL to be honest! The music video is semi decent coz its got EVH in it. Agreed the sustainer has been overused by EVH of recent years and has ruined his tone! He needs to ditch it and start reinventing himself. If he's got nothing new to offer then maybe its time to play gold more often! Bring back the EVH we all loved until 1992.....

yes that sustainer is really really annoying

I think the songs were alright to be honest I havent really listened to catherine

but rise was pretty cool funky riff, Very satriani like honestly

and I dont think thats the REAL frankenstrat its way too bright red, Im sure its a replica its too clean to be a guitar famous for looking beat up.
    I haven't got any balls!

    figuratively speaking of course

Yup, it reminded me of Satch too. I don't think he could do a whole album like that though. The reason I enjoyed listening to them is not because they're great tracks, just because its damn good to hear Eddie do ANYTHING of late. They remind me a lot of Respect The Wind from Twister and they have to be seen for what they are, soundtrack songs.

Come on Ed, Dave's just itching to get that call...and if it stops him singing bluegrass and you doing porn films then we're all winners!!!

Still...if you got the call to play guitar on a porn film....would you say no?!!!

Oh, and you don't even need to buy the soundtrack. Download them both here:

very boring if you ask me. Although it is for a porn movie, bit like expecting a story line. Years ago porn music had a lot of wah in it, maybe the sustainer is the modern device used for porn music?

I seek the head of the person that introduced the Sustainer pickup to EVH on a silver platter.

You have your orders, now go.

It is very much 'soundtrack' music and doesnt do much for me I'm afraid - However the work is probably good and must be fun to do!
