    What is the "brown" sound?

    What do you guys mean when you mention the brown guitar sound? I thought the only brown sounds were..... well you know

    makes me think of a hand rubbing down the strings for that frictiony "brown sound" I think that everyone just likes saying "brown sound" and putting it in paranthesis like this -->"brown sound"
