    Forum CD online NOW!!!

Okay! I have a no-frills web site running which contains the tracks from the forum CD. You can listen to the tracks via streaming MP3 (flash required) via a "jukebox" page, and/or download the MP3's and cover art at the "cd kit" page to facilitate burning your own disc. The performance/track details are listed when you play the song via the jukebox page.

Enjoy, and post any thoughts or criticism here. I know it's simplistic, and it's also subject to change if I have time and inclination to play with the style sheets a bit. I used the forum font throughout!

    You can hit it at:

Thanks, Pete! It's a nice, diverse collection of songs.. lots of great tracks on there! I have an idea for "Knucklehead Radio" using that same MP3 player but feeding it a playlist via XML. But I want to wait until I get all the track details from the contributors, and then have a chance to clean up what's there now.

Good work! an interesting mixture of tracks, something for everyone I think.

Particularly loved Beej's, Tim O'Sullivans, Tristans, Phattducks Heretics track, and Randracula tracks.

    And good website too Steve!

    pinging Lord Bongo...

I just have to tell you that I keep going back to that little ditty of yours on the CD, and I really like it!

For everyone: if anyone has difficulty using the flash MP3 player let me know. Not that I'll be able to do anything about it... but I'm just curious about its cross-browser compatibility. I didn't write the MP3 player, that is the excellent handiwork of Jeroen Wijering of the Netherlands.

    d2s10.mp3 replaced

I replaced Bovinehost's MP3 with a cleaner version that he supplied. (around 11:15 am EDT)

You'll probably need to clear your browser's cache to get the new one if you've already visited the site and played that song.

There's very little in my past that I think about re-visiting, but that's one. I'd really like to do a decent recording of it someday with real musicians - and thank you.

Nice work on the website, sir!

Thanks to everyone. Again, for those who didn't get a shot at the initial project, I'm open to the idea of expanding the tribute site to more tracks in the future. I could add a new 'virtual' CD for every ten new tracks!
