    Steve Morse Clinic UK

    Hi,

Well I've just returned from a Steve Morse clinic in Manchester UK, and I have to say what a humble, pleasant, mild mannered guy! He talked at length about his Musicman model and different pickup selections, and also played the Y2k model extensively.

He used a stereo ENGL rack system which really wouldn't behave; obviously not his usual rig, but he seemed to see the funny side of the buzzing and humming and'nasal tone' as he called it!

He seemed to have a short delay on most of the time for clean, 13 ms I think he said and about 400? for longer delays which were blended with the EB pedals. He talked at length about the unusual switching in his guitars.

Like a trainspotter I asked him to sign my Empress Trem which he did with a grin. All I can say is wow - what a star bloke! I have photos and will post them if I get chance! In the words of Luke - 'where would you like me to place your hamburger sir!!!'

(Might have to buy a Morse Y2k to complement my piezo Luke!!!!!

    All the best guys

    Andy
