Been a fan of Monte for years, GREAT player. His Little Wing is just cool. He sure beats that acoustic!

Man, that's another video that I can't get to play. Luckily, there are others of him doing Little Wing. First time I've heard of him. He sure does a cool version. I wonder if Michael Hedges ever recorded a version. Or Andy McKee for that matter.

Man, check this guy out. [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwm-vxGgFf4"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia] That's sick!

Includes "When Will I", the song in the clip I posted.

Yep, Monte is awesome. I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to see him live at least a couple of dozen times here in Austin. He'll be playing the next couple of Wednesdays at the Saxon Pub which, IMO, is the best venue in town to catch him live.

what I like about monte is that no one told him he can't play an accoustic guitar like that...and he does not care..

    a fantastic talent !

I've seen Monte over 100 times. I actually grew up with Monte at Luckenbach when we were kids.

I've got A Monte signed Alvarez-Yairi DY-62C MM model guitar.

I see him once every week or two in Austin. Send me a PM for tunes.
